After first getting a degree in Security and Intelligence studies AND THEN deciding he didn't want to work for the government, Andrew began his "adult life" as if he had no degree at all. Since then, he's worked as a tech recruiter in Southern California, managed a startup in New York City and has recently dedicated himself to developing tools and programs people can use to design financially-rewarding, fulfilling careers without wasting time or money on a college degree.
His lessons are a culmination of his research and his own personal experience. Feel free to email him at [email protected] or hit him up on Twitter @agstover.
More and more young people are beginning to brave social pressure and conventional logic and ask: "Is college really worth it for me?"
We've all been told since we were young that there's a script for us to follow. Graduate high school, go to college, get good grades, get a good job, lead a happy life, but students who are now graduating college with massive amounts of debt and no job prospects in sight aren't happy at all. In fact, almost 50% of graduates now say that their college experience wasn't worth it.
Unfortunately, hind sight is 50/50 and many are left wondering. What could we have done instead?
That's what we're going to answer in this course.
FIRST: We'll begin by analyzing what credentials actually are so we can figure out what is needed to build our own.
SECOND: We'll use our knowledge of credentials to figure out if its necessary to get yours from a University.
THIRD: We'll cover four different components you can use to construct a credential that gets you results college graduates can only dream of.
FINALLY: We'll wrap up and discuss different ways to assemble your credential and put it to use.
This course is absolutely free and is perfect for those who are thinking about college or those who are currently in college. Even if you're fairly certain college is where you need to be, the framework and strategies in this course will give you the tools you need to keep you from becoming an unemployment statistic upon graduation.
